Born 4-29-71 Taurus is the older and inspirational leader of the group.
Taurus was bred to make music. Raised both in Oakland, Ca and Maui, Hi, he grew up in Oakland’s Black Theaters watching his parents act, sing, and dance before growing up loving to perform as well. In Maui, Noc found his love for rap music. In 1988 he teamed up with DJ Blast and molded what is now known as Chilltown Productions. Duna Askia Ture b.k.a DUNA!Born in Fort Worth,Tx raised in Bakersfield,Ca where it all started at. Im not new to this I started freestylin in 89,everybody that heard me was like you got it just slow down. In 92 my cousin Big Duff hooked me up with Killjoy b.k.a KJ of nexx level records out of Bakersfield,Ca. Duna,s first group was 805 gangsta click me and Wax ran with that until the late 90’s! Moved to Sacramento,Ca in 99 was intruduce to my guy Noctavius by 8ball! Since them with Noc ive estiblish my own company Stakc.Ah.Dollar Recordz which is partner with noctavius M.B.E. My first project ive accomplished thanks to Noctavius and M.B.E is the Rancho Notorious presented by me DUNA and Noctavius. Grew up in East Oakland but made his way to Sacramento,CA after making a stop in San Diego,CA. He is the younger cousin of Agerman,(3xKrazy) and his mother was a regular Dancer on Soul Train television show during it’s hiatus. Started off in the game with his cousin Mack Mudd, and formed the group Double-Up. Then went to work with labels like, Recognize Records, Black Market records, The Mercenary, Sic Side Entertainment, and XL Records. He has also done shows with artists like, KRS-1, Lumpy Pockets, The Profits, Low, Doey Rock, and T-Reezy.
Aiming towards making his own mark in this Rap Game, Mr.$limm has his own version of West Coast Music for you to ride to. Look for him on Taurus Noctavius upcoming album, “The Black Out!”, and Yung Ghost’s “Get It Gang!” vol.1. Artist’s come a Dime A Dozen, but Diamonds like this Don’t Shine the same way as this one does. This boy is something to be reckond with!
