Growing up in East Sac i used to Free-style and battle for fun in school. People started telling me i could spit, so i started taking it more seriously, writing raps all the time and recording on my homies computer mic. When i was about 18 i met my producer Noctavius through one of my close friends. I went to his studio spit a verse to him and he liked what he heard, so i started coming around to recording sessions. Soon after that he put me on my first official track “Break Down The Swisher” with the M.B.E. fam. We started working together more, then i got signed to M.B.E.. Now at 21 my style has developed into a new sound i like to call GRIMEY/ HYPHY; grimey and gutter lyrics over some fast paced slumpin ass hyphy beats. You can catch me with the M.B.E fam performing at the the silk 2 club in Rancho Cordova about every weekend. Born 4-29-71 Taurus is the older and inspirational leader of the group.
Taurus was bred to make music. Raised both in Oakland, Ca and Maui, Hi, he grew up in Oakland’s Black Theaters watching his parents act, sing, and dance before growing up loving to perform as well. In Maui, Noc found his love for rap music. In 1988 he teamed up with DJ Blast and molded what is now known as Chilltown Productions. The 19 year old rap artist, Yung swift, was born on March 27, 1989 in Fresno, California. Moving to Sacramento, California at such a young age he found his home in east Sacramento in the Lincoln Village community. Living a profound lifestyle growing up which Yung Swift now uses in comparison to a movie, he witnessed and overcame certain obstacles that make him the man that he is today. He now converts all of that emotion into his music in order for people to relate too. He started his rapping career early at age 13, being influenced by Norhtern Californias notorious and legendary hardcore rappers Tupac Shakur and Messy Marv. Yung swift is also 1/2 of of the new Sacramento rap group, the other half being Skeam go by the name of “Capital Boyz” which recently dropped their hit single “Ima Go” from their up and coming mixtape entitled “Money Manipulations”. Swift appeared on the “Rancho Notorious Slap Tape” working with Producer Taurus Noctavius. He is also working on a solo mixtape entitled “3400″ set to be released early 2009. Swifts goal is to get Northern California the recognition they desereve and to get an uprising from the east Sacramento community.

Yunghost started seriously rapping at age 14,while attending Einstien Middle School,
then onto Hiram Johnson H.S. Ghost then became a member of the Silverback Apes and then onto Young Ghatt with fellow members Mac Rhugar,Bravo and Kaos.After a couple of solo years under his belt,became a member and still is apart of Mobboyant Entertainement,Headed by The Knock Monster,Taurus Noctavius.
After a full 10 years with the company,Yunghost is still running on a full tank of gas, and shows no signs of needing a filler-up.
