Adam Mandolph a.K.A Taurus Noctavius is the man behind the MBE sound and with partner Chanzilla present NoctaviusRadio.Com.
Born 4-29-71 Taurus is the older and inspirational leader of the group.
Taurus was bred to make music. Raised both in Oakland, Ca and Maui, Hi, he grew up in Oakland’s Black Theaters watching his parents act, sing, and dance before growing up loving to perform as well. In Maui, Noc found his love for rap music. In 1988 he teamed up with DJ Blast and molded what is now known as Chilltown Productions. Then named Wiz-Luv (remember the 80’s) Taurus mainly rapped and danced on stages from Kahului 2 Waikiki. Performing on stage with legends Tone Loc, L.A. Dream Team, Sweet Sensation, Brenda K Starr, Expose, Stevie B, The Boys, and many more.
After graduation back in 1989 from Maui High School, Taurus moved back to California in 1991 to pursue his dream in music and films. Only to feel the harsh realities of “Making it Big”. After almost loosing his life in a stabbing incident over his on music back in ‘93 Taurus was even more determined to make it. Since talent takes blood, sweat, and tears Noc was very head strong about his career. But shady deals to shady people, and the deaths of his mentors (his Mother and Father) Taurus decided “Enuff iz Enuff”. He went into the studio with family friend John Pond III and succesfully recorded a demo and shopped for a deal.
In 1995 Noc was signed to his very first solo deal with a Bay Area lable: B IV Real Records. Under Ceo Willie Agnew a young Taurus alone with lable mates Hi-tone and Jonny Smoove travled all throughout the midwest and dirty south opening up for artist such as Face Mobb, Too Short, and making apperances at celebratie birtday parties where they met and kicked it big with several influential artist like Micheal Mccarry(Boys 2 Men), Nelly, Total,Special Ed, Brian Mcknight, Ricky Bell(New Edition) and more. B IV Real folded in 1996. Taurus found his self back in Sacramento hungry to get back to where he left off with B IV Real Records. They had taught him alot and Noc was ready to arm a team of rappers that could get the streets of Sacramento to notice and the majors as well!!
Taurus formed The Bullpen. The Bullpen was a disaster!!! He then teamed up with Phantom to produce “Savages 1&2″, and countless projects with Bayside. Soon that fell apart too, but taught him a valuable lesson in friendship…Who’s 2 trust? Especially when money is involved!!
In 1998 Taurus formed what is now Mobboyant Entertainment which is better known as
MBE Entertainment. Straight out the streets of Rancho Cordova(Eastside Sac), MBE made its presents known pushing out mixtapes like Operation Underground “The Merg”, “Underground Bluntz”,and albums such as Bangmatas “Vocals like Gunshotz”, Franchyze 916 “Flagrant Foal” and Taurus “Mobboyant”, just to name a few!! Not to mention hosting little rap contest, and
working with local sacramento and bay area artist.
Now a “Sactown King” and given his veteran status Tnocz has his new team the MBE Fam. With team playahz 24/7,Yunghost,Bangmata,Duna Askia Ture, and Tay Slimm, promise to keep yall heads knockin with the release of several projects. Keep your ears open for the MBE Fam album “THE SMACKERZ”, Rancho Notorious slap tape”,and Taurus Noctavius” The Knock Monster”( in streets now),”TheB lackout & Toxic slap tapez”! Soon too a hood near you!
To date Taurus Noctavius has worked with several Artist such as Ap9, 51/50, Chunk,Triple Beam,The Heat Commitee, Foe Loco, Agerman, Hyrisk,Young Droop, G.R, Ann Carter, Playgyrl Slim, Money Tee, Atrocity, Hondo,Joezy Wells,Scoob Nitty, Sir Emoe, Freddy Flossalini, Hitworks Studios, Who Put Sac On The Map pt1, Dre D, Kronik Luciano, JDK The Undaboss, Bangmata, PCO, Luck, BNTW and many, many more artist as well as appering on compilation albums all throughout N.Cali, and is currently working on some collabo albums with several Sacramento Big Dawgs!! So watch out!!

I am not surprised that you are a talented artist. I was friends with Robert and Linda before you and Celeste were born. ( Y’all actually lived with my sister and I for a short while in Long Beach, CA and your mom made the best “peach chicken”!) I was thinking about them and thought I would see if you came up on the web. Keep up with your craft. My prayer for you and Celeste is that you have success and joy in life. I came across your video. Please! This looks like a poor 1990’s gansta style rap. Hip Hop is now being mixed with pop,rock,classical, and Jazz. Where do you live that your so behind the times. Even 50 cent is even moving in another direction. As for you so called Aunt Miranda Lewis she needs to get a life. You don’t seem to be a close enough family that she would need to beg you to get in touch on your site.
